McDonald’s Pakistan has made a generous contribution of Rs10 million to the Edhi Foundation to aid those affected by the tragic humanitarian crisis in Gaza following Israeli bombardment. The fast-food chain expressed hope that these funds would support relief efforts and provide some comfort to the affected individuals.

In a statement, McDonald’s Pakistan emphasized its status as a wholly Pakistani entity owned and managed by SIZA Foods (Pvt.) Ltd. The statement also underlined their commitment to the nation and its people and rejected any claims challenging their Pakistani identity.

Previously, the company had clarified its separation from McDonald’s operations in Israel, stating that “McDonald’s in Israel operates as a separate entity from McDonald’s Pakistan and makes its own business and communications decisions, independent of our business in Pakistan.” They emphasized their non-involvement in political matters, focusing solely on delivering the beloved McDonald’s experience that customers trust.

The statement further conveyed McDonald’s Pakistan’s solidarity with the affected population, expressing optimism for a peaceful and resilient future.
