Imran Khan Willing to Talk to All for Country’s Sake Amid Political Turmoil

The deposed Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, has stated that he is prepared to talk to all parties for the benefit of the country’s interest, progress, and democracy. This announcement comes in the wake of increasing political unrest and recent clashes between law enforcement officials and PTI activists who may have been trying to apprehend Imran Khan.

Khan expressed his willingness to make sacrifices for the betterment of Pakistan and thanked the people who have supported his struggle for “real freedom.” This statement came in response to an offer of dialogue from the current Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, who stated that all political parties should work together to advance the country.

However, Khan’s immediate concern is the non-bailable arrest warrant that was issued against him in the Toshakhana case. He has stated that he believes in the rule of law and will appear in court on March 18. He expressed concerns that his arrest is not to bring him before the courts but to “kill” him. Khan sustained injuries in an assassination attempt in Wazirabad on November 3, 2022, and fears he may be subjected to torture if he is arrested.
